Coming to a meeting is the best way to learn about how the Time Bank works.
Current members talk about their experiences and how they came to discover their own inventory of offerings as well as discovering things they need. One member mentioned how being a part of the Time Bank made her feel safer with a new-found community that she can call upon. Many members talk about how they learned to value skills they have that they didn’t value before. We’ll practice making matches to demonstrate how easy it is and discuss our online manager: Community Weaver. After the chat, we’ll eat some food and mingle. It makes all the difference getting to know people you might trade with - it’s always nice to put a face with a name.
Earn Time Dollars (they work retroactively if you decide to join later) for attending the meeting and earn more if you can bring a food item to share.
